Ty was originally employed as a firefighter and a paramedic in S. Central Los Angeles before starting a medical business in the movie industry providing medical care and technical expertise on productions such as American Ninja Warrior and various documentaries.
Ty started his financial career in insurance where he moved up to become a manager and later an advanced product expert for his brokerage. Ty was dissatisfied with the limitations inherent with working with only a limited number of carriers and products. He decided to start Greenshield financial to provide more comprehensive and holistic strategies for his clients.
